Bury Santa Experience raises over £6,400 for Suffolk Mind

arc shopping centre is proud to announce that the Bury Santa Experience raised £6,447.50 for Suffolk Mind.

The Christmas experience proved to be a great success for the town centre with over 3,000 children visiting Father Christmas. The Town Council, Bury St Edmunds BID and arc shopping centre are donating 25% of all ticket funds to local charity Suffolk Mind.

Amanda Sturgeon, Corporate Relationships Manager at Suffolk Mind said: “We can’t thank the Bury St Edmunds BID, the Town Council and the arc shopping centre enough for supporting Suffolk Mind as part of the Christmas experience. It’s been fantastic working with them for the last two years to raise awareness and funds to support mental health in Suffolk as part of our charity partnership. These funds will help us to develop our services and support even more people across Suffolk’’

Steve Bunce, arc shopping centre Manager said: “We’re really grateful for all the support we received from our local community. The festive experience provided additional fun within Bury St Edmunds which brought joy to over 3,000 children. Our partnership with local charities including Suffolk Mind is key to our beliefs at arc shopping centre and we are so proud to be able to donate £6,447.50 to the charity”.

delighted to play an integral role in the whole Christmas in Bury St
Edmunds Partnership last year. We were delighted that the Santa
Experience was so popular, a sell out and has also managed to raise so
much money for Suffolk Mind”
