Charter Square will be coming alive with the sound of live music!

Saturday 22nd July | 10am – 1pm

On Saturday 22nd July the wonderful Marrakesh Band will be returning to Charter Square to entertain us with performances between 10am and 1pm.

This local band performed here last November and were keen to return in warmer weather! They play a wide range of music for all occasions – from Miller to Madness! With a horn section of 3 saxes, 2 trumpets and trombones, male and female vocalists, and a very experienced rhythm section of drums, bass, guitar and keyboard, they have the perfect recipe for musical entertainment to appeal to all ages! Sunday 23rd July | 10.30am – 12pm

On Sunday morning we have the local community choir, Buskerteers Choir, performing from 10.30am to 12pm, they are on a mission to raise £1million for charity and to help achieve this they have kindly agreed to collect donations for the Centre’s Charity of the Year, Gatehouse, while they are here. They are a community choir open to all, committed to bringing the health benefits of singing in a choir to all, so please take a look at their website if you are interested in joining.

 

Sunday 23rd July | 2pm – 4pm

On Sunday afternoon the brilliant Bury St Edmunds Concert Band is back for another visit to Charter Square, this is becoming an annual event and we love it! They will be performing between 2pm and 4pm, their talented musicians will deliver a mix of classics and modern covers. Always entertaining and always a treat! The Band will be performing their Last Night at the Proms concert at the Theatre Royal on Sunday 17th September, see the Theatre Royal website for details and tickets.
