Job Title: Security Supervisor
Location: The Arc Shopping Centre, Bury St Edmunds
Pay Rate: £12.19ph
Hours: Average 44hrs pw, 4 on 4 off rolling rota
As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safety and security of The Arc Shopping Centre, its tenants and customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:
· Supervise the delivery of all services to provide consistently high levels of performance that meet contractual obligations to partners including legislation.
· To evaluate working practices to drive improvements.
· Ensure uniforms, materials, consumables are sufficient at all times.
· Ensure that operational delivery is being maintained to the highest standard. This includes cover of holiday and sickness for colleagues.
· Ensure all machinery breakdowns and maintenance are managed effectively
· Carry out any other reasonable request of the manager, partners, business manager or a director.
· Motivate the management team and encourage, coach and mentor staff to achieve their full potential and throughout.
· Communicate clearly with your team the results of customer SLA and KPI meetings.
· Assist in the recruitment of high calibre candidates to ensure the organisation can plan for the future positions (succession planning).
· Motivate and recognise your team to improve retention figures by displaying leadership qualities.
· Manage colleagues performance, undertaking quarterly performance reviews and annual appraisals on all members of site based staff, and making all such records available for examination.
· As a Security Supervisor you will need:
· Valid SIA Licence and First Aid certification – For the right candidate Westgrove may be willing to provide Training in order to obtain a licence
· A valid CCTV Licence is desirable
· You must be flexible
· Highly motivated
· Excellent customer service skills
