Suffolk Day Eye-Spy

We hope you all enjoyed our #SuffolkDay game of Eye-Spy! How many of the locations could you name?

The answer: Southwold!

This beautiful seaside location is a popular holiday and day-out destination, with a working lighthouse, beach huts, award-winning pier, busy harbour, cliff top cannon and of course the beach!

The answer: Lavenham!

With timber-framed buildings and historic church, the picturesque Lavenham is considered to be Britain’s best preserved medieval village. It’s also well-known for featuring in Harry Potter! Potterheads, if you’ve not been before, this is a day out for you ⚡️

The answer: Framlingham Castle

This magnificent 12th century fortress makes for a fantastic family day out, and some super photography! Re-opening on 4th July for pre-booked tickets, this is another day trip to add to your summer plans.

The answer: Ickworth House

An Italianate Palace, surrounded by evergreen gardens, in the heart of Suffolk. Keep an eye on the National Trust site for re-opening information: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/ickworth

The answer: Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds

A great location with a great atmosphere, the Theatre Royal is one of eight Grade I listed theatres in the United Kingdom, and is the only working theatre operated under the auspices of the National Trust.

Set across 14 acres, this is the perfect spot for enjoying peace and quiet whilst watching the world go by.

The answer: The Apex, Bury St Edmunds

If you’ve been to The Apex before, we’re sure you’ll agree that this award-winning venue is fantastic! It’s varied programme includes live rock and jazz music, classical concerts, as well as comedy and dance performances. We can’t wait for it to re-open!

That’s right, it’s us! Located in the most stunning new part of town, we are the perfect shopping destination for a relaxing and enjoyable day out.
