Supermarket Sweep

Saturday 23rd September 2023, 11am – 3pm

The third of our A Bury Beautiful Workshops for 2023, our Supermarket Sweep event is coming to Charter Square this September!

Kids will have the chance to have a go at this gameshow classic whilst supporting the valuable Food Bank resource run by local Bury St Edmunds charity, Gatehouse.

You’ll have 30 seconds to find all the items from a randomly selected shopping list. Some items will have a prize for you, some will have a donation for Gatehouse, and some will have both!

Plus, we’ll be running a food hamper raffle where you’ll have the chance to win a hamper full of Suffolk goodies! We’ll donate an identical hamper to Gatehouse, too.

Food donations are welcome any time to the foodbank station located inside the Apex. Gatehouse are in need of the following items for local families:

• Milk (UHT And Powered)
• Biscuits
• Baked Beans (Tins)
• Pasta Sauce (Jar)
• Coffee
• Rice Pudding (Tinned)
• Fish / Tuna (Tinned)
• Soup (Tins And Packets)
• Fruit (Tinned)
• Sugar
• Fruit Squash Drink
• Tinned Tomatoes
• Orange Juice (Carton)
• Tea Bags
• Meat (Tinned)
• Vegetables (Tinned)
