On Saturday 16th December, between 12pm and 1pm, we had the local Buskerteers Choir visit to entertain our shoppers with festive songs and classic hits!
The Buskerteers Choir is open to all abilities, and no previous singing experience is necessary. All you need is a can-do attitude and they will teach you the rest, they say that if you can talk, you can sing! Their professional, trained musicians will be with you every step of the way to help you improve every week. Don’t worry, you won’t have to sing on your own – it can be scary and overwhelming. So that’s why you’ll always sing with friendly people who can support you. Pop along to Charter Square on Saturday to listen to the choir and find out more, new members are always welcome!
During their performances, the Buskerteers Choir also collected donations on behalf of the Centre’s Charity of the Year, Gatehouse. This local foodbank is in high demand over the Christmas period, so any donations are gratefully received. This year, the performance raised an incredible £114.80 for Gatehouse Home Store and Foodbank.
