To mark the historic 60th anniversary of England’s legendary 1966 World Cup victory, Our Bury St Edmunds BID is launching a brand-new, completely FREE town centre trail this summer.
This free, family-friendly event runs from Saturday 4th July to Sunday 6th September 2026 and is a great way to explore Bury St Edmunds. Across the town, there are ten ‘66 World Cup related items hidden in participating businesses.
Competition forms can be collected from participating businesses and town centre venues. Including The Tourist Information Point (St Edmundsbury Cathedral Shop on Angel Hill), Moyse’s Hall Museum, The Apex, and The Library.
Your goal is to discover all ten items and write down the location of each one on the back of your competition form.
Once completed, return the form to be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win one of three prizes.
