On Wednesday, 28th May we hosted some incredible live workshops teaching you how to grow your own vegetable patch at home and how to create a beautiful butterfly garden!
When: Wednesday 28th May, 11am-3pm
Where: Charter Square, arc, Bury St Edmunds
Who: Fun for the whole family!
As part of our ongoing Bury Beautiful World campaign, we were excited to invite you to a day of creativity, learning, and eco-friendly fun!
Participants joined us on Wednesday, 28th May for a series of live workshops designed to teach them how to grow their own vegetable garden and create a beautiful butterfly garden to help pollinators thrive.
In partnership with Still Good Food, we showed families how to save money at home by reducing food waste and growing their own veggies from leftover scraps!
Plus, thanks to our brilliant coffee shops, Costa, The Coffee House, and Muffin Break, passersby were able to take home bags of used coffee grounds to add a nutrient-rich boost to their garden or allotment.
This event was a fun, vibrant and educational event for families and children that was completely FREE to attend. Donations were welcomed to support our fantastic Charity of the Year – Still Good Food.
