What’s the Christmas Project?

Every year, Gatehouse prepares special Christmas hampers filled with non-perishable food items and extra festive goodies. These hampers are a lifeline for those in need during the holiday season.

How can you get involved?

Join us on Sunday, 12th November, as we kickstart the fourth instalment of the Bury Beautiful World Workshops – Christmas Project right here at arc Shopping Centre. 

Bring your creativity and decorate a cardboard shoebox with holiday cheer. You can purchase gifts from our wonderful tenants to place inside these boxes. 

Some of our fantastic tenants are generously contributing unused shoe boxes. However, you can also bring your own shoe boxes to decorate.

We understand that not everyone can donate, especially during challenging times. You can still make a difference by writing a positive Christmas card to include in the gift boxes, or even pledging your time to help at Gatehouse!

To add a touch of magic to this already special occasion, your favourite Snow Queen will be joining us to interact with families and take pictures to keep as a memory of the day.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to join in with this extra special event. Let’s come together as a community, share the festive spirit, and spread love and warmth this Christmas.

Examples of items that would be gratefully received as donations can be found below*. This list is not exhaustive; we welcome any small donations towards our shoebox drive! We also welcome any non-perishable food items or toiletries that can be picked up from your local supermarket.
