On Saturday 7th June the students of Stagecoach will be promoting their forthcoming show with a performance in Charter Square. They are staging Into The Woods Jr. at the Apex on 22nd June, but you can see a taster of the production here in Charter Square at arc Shopping Centre between 2.45pm and 3.30pm on Saturday 7th June.
Stagecoach provide quality part-time training in performing arts for children aged 4-18yrs. Their aim is to nurture and develop young peoples potential through singing, acting and dance classes in Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket, stretching young imaginations and helping develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation – as well as being educational and fun.
Into The Woods is a captivating musical that weaves together beloved fairy tales such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel in a story that is both heart-warming and thought-provoking.
Follow the Baker and his wife as they venture into the woods to lift a witch’s curse and encounter a host of colourful characters along the way. With unforgettable music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a witty, poignant script by James Lapine, Into The Woods Jr. promises to be filled with laughter, adventure, and a touch of magic.
