We are delighted to reveal that fast-casual restaurant chain Slim Chickens will occupy the space that formerly held Carluccio’s from 12pm on Thursday the 24th of August 2023.
The quick service restaurant has a wide selection of menu items, including chicken tenders, breaded wings, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and handspun milkshakes. The latest addition to their menu is their the Buffalo Loaded Fries, which were added to the menu in early July.
Slim Chickens, which is famous for its cooked-to-order fresh hand-breaded chicken tenders, also boasts 15 house sauces.
Offering visitors Southern-style hospitality paired with sports screens, patrons of Slim Chickens can also enjoy beer with their food!
On opening day, the restaurant chain is offering the first 30 people in line three free chicken tenders. And those who can’t make it to the grand opening can still take part in Slim Chickens’ loyalty programme, where once they have collected five stamps they will be able to collect a free meal, with three free wings and a free shake in between.

Centre Manager for arc Allan Hassell said: “We’re delighted to welcome Slim Chickens to the arc. I’m sure they will offer additional variety to the marvellous range of restaurants we already have within the centre, providing our customers further options during their visit.”
The restaurant, which will cover 4500 square feet, will seat 89 inside and 40 outside and create 25 jobs.
